Manuel J. Santos Hospital (MJSH) is a 100-bed level 2 hospital committed to giving the best healthcare service available in Butuan and the CARAGA region.

MJSH has opened its two Primary Care Centers located at the main hospital and in Nasipit. The Primary Care Centers are a one-stop-shop facility that offers medicines, laboratory tests, portable imaging, ultrasound, ECG, and pulmonary services.

We also opened our newly-renovated Emergency Care Unit dedicated to rendering precise and high-quality immediate emergency treatment to patients presenting with a broad spectrum of illnesses and injuries.

Our Emergency Care Unit is composed of seven (7) beds, equipped with patient monitors and piped-in oxygen system, suction machines, ventilators, resuscitators, defibrillators, and emergency carts.

We also have (9) new private rooms. It features a homey and healing atmosphere giving a holistic experience to its patients to foster faster recovery.

 We at MJHS will ramp up the expansion of its healthcare services by acquiring the VCDU Prince Hotel, a 7-story structure adjacent to the hospital. The hotel will be converted into a Medical Arts Building to house its current doctors and offer new clinic spaces to new medical consultants. The expansion will provide patients with additional diagnostics and modern outpatient services.
